Teaching Assistant

Teaching Personnel are currently working on behalf of a SEN School in the NG12 area of Nottinghamshire, who are looking for an experienced Teaching Assistant to start this term.

The school supports a range of Pupils who present with Moderate Learning Difficulties, Severe Learning Difficulties, Autism (ASC), ADHD and PMLD, between the ages of 3 to 18 years old. Each class tailor their lesson structure around the ability level of the class, and are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is able to support students at a variety of ability levels. 

Candidates are required to have the following experience:

• Working one-to-one and in small groups 
• Supporting students who present with ASC, ADHD, MLD, SLD or PMLD
• Worked in a school or care setting 
• Consider themselves as nurturing and proactive
• DBS on the update service
• Relevant Teaching Assistant Qualification
