Our client secondary school in the central Manchester area is seeking to appoint a motivated and confident graduate to work in the classroom with students in a mainstream setting aged 11 - 16. There is an open vacancy within the school's SEND department where they require a graduate to work and support the new cohort of year 7s coming into the school.

This role is ideal for a graduate who is considering undertaking a PGCE in the future or for graduates who want more experience within a school setting. The successful graduate will have the opportunity to gain invaluable experience working with committed professionals and with students in a classroom setting as well as on a 1:1 basis.

Highlights of the position:

  • Pay between £50 - £70 per day, depending on previous experience

The support on offer is second to none and the successful graduate will be assisted throughout their time at the school and will gain invaluable experience working with young adults, shaping their futures.

As the successful graduate, you will be working in a support capacity, working with pupils in a full class setting as well as on a 1:1 basis or in small group settings. This could be in the form of intervention or providing support to students who require it the most. This role will allow the successful candidate to gain the necessary experience to support a future PGCE application or allow them to be involved and gain understanding of the education sector.
