Teaching Assistant required for Oldham secondary school.

Teaching Personnel are working in collaboration with a small Secondary Academy in the centre of Oldham to recruit Teaching Assistants on full-time basis.

Due to a restructuring within the schools support faculty, the SENCO in school currently wishes to appoint two Teaching Assistants on a full time temporary basis with immediate effect for the remainder of the academic year.

-          Full time Teaching Assistants required immediate start.

-          Guaranteed until the end of the academic year, possibility of securing a permanent position following this.

-          Earn up to GBP1200 per month * experience dependent.

**The school are welcoming applications from experienced Teaching Assistants (Level One, Two and Three), Graduates and Youth workers with experience working with young people aged 11-16.**

The incoming Teaching Assistants will be working with identified students on a 1:1 basis and delivering small group intervention sessions that will be pre planned by the class teacher with the purpose of raising attainment and improving behaviour. As well as supporting students the successful members of staff will be required to provide general support to pupils across Key Stage Three and Key Stage Four, working alongside the class teacher and monitoring progress.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
