A teaching assistant position has just become available at an OUTSTANDING school in Weymouth, to start from January 2021.
This is an excellent opportunity for any teaching assistant to have the chance to work at such a high achieving school.
Teaching Personnel are looking to recruit a Teaching Assistant (TA) that can help offer support for a Year 1 class in an “OUTSTANDING” school in Weymouth. The school is looking for someone to help support this lower achieving Year 1 class in order to prepare them in the best way before they enter Year 2.
This 2 form entry primary school wants a Teaching Assistant with experience in Key stage 1 to help support the lower achieving class. The role will involve general support in the class room environment and also leading intervention support classes for small groups of pupils, around 4/5 pupils at a time to help them with their Reading, Writing and Maths. The role is a good opportunity for someone who is looking to potentially find a permanent position for the next academic year as the school is looking to make the role permanent if the teaching assistant is the right fit for the role.
The school has a real desire to maintain as well as build on their “OUTSTANDING” rating so this is an extremely good school to work for and gather experience from as they function on an extremely good platform. Trial days are looking to be conducted from the school as soon as possible so it is advised you your CV in as soon as possible if you are interested in the role.
