The Role:

This special needs secondary and sixth form supports 11 to 19 years old pupils with severe learning difficulties (SLD), profound and multiple learning difficulties (PMLD) and autistic spectrum disorders (ASD). Due to their diagnosis, some pupils may be non-verbal, in wheelchairs or may display challenging behaviours. You will be working with small classes of 4 pupils, creating a stimulating and engaging learning environment.

You will be expected to use:

  • Intensive Interaction
  • Write Dance Program
  • Objects of Reference
  • Touch Cues
  • Makaton
  • PECS

The School Information:

  • Hours: 8:30 to 4:00
  • Pay: £65 a day
