Teaching Assistant – Primary Schools, Southampton
Help children learn, grow, and enjoy school.
Location: Primary schools across Southampton
Hours: Full-Time or Part-Time (Term Time Only)
Pay: £13.75 per hour
Start Date: As soon as possible
About the Role:
We are looking for caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistants to work in primary schools in Southampton. You will support children in the classroom, help with learning activities, and work closely with teachers.
What You’ll Do:

Help children with their work in class
-
Support pupils one-to-one or in small groups
-
Assist the teacher with lessons and classroom tasks
-
Encourage good behaviour and support children’s wellbeing
-
Help with reading, writing, maths, and creative activities

Experience with children (helpful but not essential)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
