Primary School Teaching Assistant – Southampton
Location: Southampton, Hampshire
Contract Type: Full-time or Part-time
Salary: from £13.75 per hour

Are you passionate about supporting children's learning and development? Do you want to make a real difference in the classroom? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Primary School Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Southampton.
About the Role:
We are working closely with a friendly and supportive school that is looking for a teaching assistant to provide classroom support across Early Years, Key Stage 1 or Key Stage 2 (depending on experience and preference). Your role will involve working alongside the class teacher to support learning, deliver small group interventions, and promote a positive learning environment.
The Ideal Candidate:

Experience working with primary-aged children (school-based or in another educational setting)

A passion for education and child development

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Able to work effectively as part of a team and independently
