About Us:

The Role:
We are seeking a compassionate and calm Teaching Assistant to support pupils with SEN. You will play a key role in helping our students achieve their potential, both academically and socially. The role may involve:

  • Providing one-to-one or small group support for pupils with SEN.
  • Assisting with personal care when required.
  • Supporting pupils with challenging behaviour in a patient and positive way.
  • Helping to implement individual learning plans and behaviour strategies.
  • Encouraging independence and social skills development.

What We Are Looking For:
The ideal candidate will have:

  • A calm, nurturing, and patient approach.
  • Experience working with children with SEN
  • Confidence in managing challenging behaviour with empathy and consistency.
  • Ability to provide personal care in a respectful and professional manner.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.

We are able to consider applicants with full time, part time and flexible availability. For part time and flexible work, you must be able to work a full school day (08:30 - 15:30).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
