About the School:

Age Range: The primary school caters for students aged 5-11 and has 2 dedicated classrooms for pupils who have a variety of Special Educational Needs (SEN).

Student Needs: A variety of needs, ranging from Autism, physical disabilities, challenging behaviours, and speech and language needs.

Class Sizes: 2 classrooms, each with around 10 pupils. These classrooms are split by ages and the pupil’s needs.

Responsibilities:

Experience: Ideally, you have experience working in an educational setting supporting pupils with SEN or within your personal life. However, the school is willing to support your induction into SEN if you can demonstrate a passion for working with students with special educational needs.

Student Support: Work closely with a small group of pupils with special educational needs, providing direct, face-to-face support to those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.

Learning Environment: Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and empowered to succeed.

Collaboration: Collaborate with staff members, other educational professionals, and parents to develop effective strategies for student success.

Important information:

Schedule: Monday to Friday, 08:30 – 15:30

Pay: £85 - £90 per day (as per the national framework for Wales).
