A warm, welcoming school in Netherton is seeking to appoint a Teaching Assistant to work within their Year 2 class. The role will start on a full-time basis from April 2024 and is needed until the end of the academic year with the possibility of going permanent.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Support the class teacher in planning and delivering age-appropriate activities.
• Assist with the development of a stimulating and safe learning environment.
• Lead reading intervention groups where appropriate.
• Provide one-on-one support to students as needed.
• Foster positive relationships with parents and guardians

Role Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or adults with SEN needs would be beneficial.
• Enthusiasm for creating engaging and interactive learning experiences for young children.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and, most importantly, little learners.
