We are recruiting for classroom support/classroom helpers to join our supply team in the Launceston area.
If you are a person with any prior experience supporting children, or a passion for education and desire to gain a role within a school, we'd love to work with you.
Have you always been looking to support children within Primary Education, but struggled due to lack of experience? Well, Teaching Personnel can help!
Since lockdown, schools have seen a huge demand for additional Teaching Assistant’s. They need Learning Support Assistants to work with children who have lost learning or to push those greater depth students.
We are working with three mainstream Primary schools, that are offering voluntary experience and training for candidates who are looking to develop a career as a Teaching Assistant. Teaching Personnel also work with the New Skills Academy to offer subsidised courses including online diplomas in Teaching Assistant and SEND.
Previous experience within a school or nursery setting, or a relevant qualification would be desirable. We work with the New Skills Academy to offer subsidised courses including online diplomas in Teaching Assistant and SEND. We will be able to offer up to 5 days per week of work in your most local schools, supporting teachers and children within Reception to Year 6 ages. You are paid weekly, £10.77 per hour and most school days run from 8:30-3:15.
You may have previous or personal experience supporting special educational needs which would also be exceptionally transferable.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
