Job Title: Teaching Assistant
School Base: Launceston Primary School
Contract Type: Temporary (to cover absence)
Start Date: September 2025
Hours: Up to 38 hours per week
Working Weeks: Term-time only (38 weeks)
FTE Salary: £23,555
Actual Salary: Dependent on hours worked
We’re Hiring: Teaching Assistants (KS1/KS2)
We are seeking nurturing, dedicated, and highly motivated Teaching Assistants to join a supportive team in a local Launceston-based primary school. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in an inclusive, child-centered school environment where every child is encouraged to thrive.
About the Roles:

One role will initially be based in KS1/KS2, supporting learning across the classroom.

A second role is available in KS2, providing cover for long-term sickness absence (hours to be confirmed).

There is flexibility for the vacancies to be shared across multiple candidates depending on availability.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
