EYFS Teaching Assistant – Part Time

• £10.20 - 11.20 per hour
• Full Time Mon-Fri.
• 1:1 class assistant

Following the lockdown and a member of staff having to shield a school in Kirkham are after a ‘Nurturing Teaching Assistant’ to offer teaching assistant support to a pupil within an EYFS class. The pupil currently has no official diagnosis but is being monitored with the view of obtaining an official diagnosis. There are physical difficulties the pupil has, and they need support throughout their whole time in school (this is currently afternoons), there are currently no behavioural problems with the pupil.

The school are after somebody who can offer a nurturing support to the pupil whist helping them to access the EYFS curriculum, this role has the potential to be longer term. The successful candidate must have experience working within a EYFS or KS1 environment demonstrating a nurturing side whilst also ensuring social, emotional, academic, and physical progress.

The school has a supportive network and there will be CPD opportunities for the professional growth of a candidate.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
