Experienced SEN Teaching Assistant - Full Time

Are you an experienced and passionate SEN Teaching Assistant looking for your next rewarding opportunity?

We are seeking a dedicated and resilient individual to join a supportive school SEN provision, working with children who have high additional needs. This is a full-time role for someone who is committed to helping pupils reach their full potential through tailored support and positive relationships.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with a range of complex SEN needs within the school's SEN provision.
Providing 1:1 and small group support.
Assisting children with communication, social, emotional and behavioural needs.
Working closely with teachers, SENCOs and external professionals.
Implementing individual learning and behaviour support plans.
Creating a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

Previous experience supporting children with high additional needs.
Experience working within an SEN school, SEN provision, 1:1 support role, care setting, support worker role, or residential setting.
Strong behaviour management skills and the ability to build positive relationships.
Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
A genuine passion for supporting children with additional needs.

Desirable:

Team Teach, MAPA or other behaviour management training.
Experience supporting children with Autism, ADHD, SEMH or complex learning needs.
Relevant Teaching Assistant or Care qualifications.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
