Are you a compassionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of children with additional needs?

We are seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming school in Blackburn, working full time within a specialist SEN classroom. This rewarding role involves supporting children with high additional needs, helping them access learning, develop key life skills, and achieve their full potential in a nurturing environment.

The Role:

Supporting pupils with a range of complex SEN needs.
Working closely with the class teacher and SEN team.
Providing 1:1 and small group support.
Assisting with communication, emotional regulation, and personal development.
Implementing individual learning and behaviour support plans.
Creating a safe, positive, and engaging learning environment.

Requirements:

Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
Previous experience supporting children with SEN and additional needs.
A patient, caring, and resilient approach.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Experience working within an SEN setting is highly desirable.
