EYFS Teaching Assistant – Full Time (September Start)
Blackburn, Lancashire

We are looking for an enthusiastic and nurturing EYFS Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and supportive primary school in Blackburn from September. This full-time role is perfect for someone passionate about early years education and helping young children thrive in their first stages of learning.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and activities
Work with children in Nursery or Reception, both in groups and on a 1:1 basis
Assist with phonics, early numeracy, and creative play-based learning
Help create a safe, stimulating, and inclusive learning environment
Support children’s social, emotional, and developmental needs
Observe and report on pupil progress where required

Requirements:

Experience working within an EYFS setting (essential)
A caring, patient, and energetic approach
Good understanding of early childhood development
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare) are desirable

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
