Level 3 Teaching Assistant – EYFS (Primary School)
Location: Blackburn
Start Date: Just after the Easter holidays
Hours: Full-time – Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:00pm
Contract: Term-time
We are seeking a Level 3 qualified Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Blackburn, working full time in an EYFS classroom.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic TA who is passionate about supporting young children at a crucial stage in their development.
The Role

Supporting the class teacher in an EYFS setting

Working with children individually and in small groups
-
Helping to create a safe, engaging, and nurturing learning environment

Supporting children’s learning, play, and early development
-
Assisting with personal care where required
-
Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
-
Following school policies and safeguarding procedures
The Ideal Candidate
-
Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
-
Has experience working in an EYFS or early years setting
-
Is caring, patient, and enthusiastic
-
Has a good understanding of the EYFS framework
-
Works well as part of a team and uses initiative
-
Is committed to safeguarding and supporting children’s welfare

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
