Are you a passionate and experienced Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS)? We are working with a welcoming primary school in Blackburn seeking a dedicated EYFS Intervention Teaching Assistant to provide targeted support to children requiring additional help with their learning and development.

This is a fantastic opportunity to make a real impact during the most important stages of a child's educational journey.

The Role

Delivering targeted intervention sessions to children within EYFS
Supporting pupils with speech, language, communication, and early learning development
Working with children on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging activities
Monitoring and recording pupil progress
Supporting children with additional needs to access learning opportunities
Creating a positive, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate

Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Childcare qualification
Previous experience working within an EYFS setting
Sound knowledge of the EYFS Framework and early learning goals
Experience delivering interventions and supporting children with additional needs
Patient, caring, and enthusiastic approach
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
