Teaching Personnel is currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join a friendly and inclusive primary school in the Portland area. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to build experience in education or continue their journey in a rewarding school setting.

The Role:

• Full-time position starting in September

• Supporting pupils across Key Stage 1 and/or Key Stage 2

• Working 1:1 with pupils or in small group settings

• Assisting the class teacher with planning, preparation, and behaviour support

• Helping to create a safe, engaging, and positive learning environment

The Ideal Candidate:

• Experience working with children in a school or similar setting (voluntary or paid)

• A patient, caring, and proactive attitude

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• A genuine interest in education and child development

• Relevant qualifications (e.g. CACHE, Level 2/3 TA) are desirable but not essential

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
