SEN Teaching Assistant – Seeking Primary School Role in Dorchester Area
Available from September 2025 | Full-Time | EYFS – KS2 Experience

Teaching Personnel is currently supporting a highly motivated and experienced SEN Teaching Assistant who is actively seeking a new opportunity within a primary school setting in the Dorchester area.

This candidate has a strong background working with children across EYFS to KS2, with particular experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, speech and language needs, and social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) challenges. They are confident working on a 1:1 basis as well as within small group settings, and have a nurturing, patient approach that helps pupils thrive both academically and emotionally.

Candidate highlights:

• Experience delivering tailored interventions and supporting EHCP targets
• Skilled in implementing structured routines and behaviour strategies
• Calm, adaptable, and confident supporting children with complex needs
• Enhanced DBS (on the Update Service) and excellent references available

This individual is available from September 2025, and is open to long-term, short-term, or temp-to-perm opportunities. They are flexible, reliable, and ready to contribute positively to a team.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
