SEN Teaching Assistant – Bridport
Start Date: September 2025 | Full-Time | Long-Term Opportunity
£85 - £95 per day (depending on experience)

Teaching Personnel is currently working in partnership with a welcoming and inclusive SEN school in the Bridport area that is seeking a dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team from September 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to support students with a range of additional needs including autism, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and social, emotional, and mental health challenges.

The role:

• Supporting students 1:1 and in small groups to access learning and promote independence.
• Collaborating with class teachers and SENCO to deliver tailored interventions.
• Helping to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
• Providing personal care or behavioural support as required.

The ideal candidate will:

• Have experience working with children or young people, ideally within an SEN setting.
• Be calm, patient, and resilient, with a nurturing approach.
• Be confident in managing behaviour in a positive and consistent way.
• Hold an enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or be willing to apply for one).
