Teaching Assistant – Dorchester

Location: Dorchester
Start Date: September 2025 (or sooner)
⏰ Full-time & part-time roles available
Pay: £85 – £95 per day (depending on experience)

Are you looking to start or continue your career in education? Teaching Personnel is working closely with primary and secondary schools in Dorchester who are seeking motivated and compassionate Teaching Assistants to join their teams from September 2025.

These roles are ideal for individuals who are passionate about supporting children’s learning and development, whether you're an experienced TA, a recent graduate, or someone considering a future in teaching.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting pupils on a 1:1 and small group basis
• Assisting the class teacher in delivering engaging lessons
• Helping to manage classroom behaviour and promote positive learning environments
• Supporting children with additional needs (SEND)
• Contributing to pupil progress tracking and reporting

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Are caring, patient and enthusiastic
• Have strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ideally have experience working with children or young people (in a school or other setting)
• Are committed to the safeguarding and well-being of pupils
