Are you passionate about supporting children with special educational needs and making a real difference in their lives? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Teaching Assistant to work 1:1 with a Year 4 student with autism at a welcoming primary school in Wandsworth.

About the Role

• Provide 1:1 support to a pupil with autism, helping them to engage with learning and reach their full potential.

• Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored strategies and learning activities.

• Encourage positive behaviour, independence, and social interaction.

• Support with classroom activities, transitions, and emotional regulation throughout the school day.

About You

• Previous experience working with children or young people with autism or additional needs is desirable.

• A proactive, caring, and patient individual who enjoys working with children.

• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

• A genuine passion for education and supporting young people’s development.

• Pay: £95 – £105 per day

• Contract: Full-time, term-time only

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
