Location: Cardiff
Hours: Full-Time (Monday–Friday)
Start Date: Immediate start available
Pay: £92.63–£95.00 per day

 

About the Role

This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a supportive primary school, working closely with teachers to help pupils succeed both academically and socially. You'll support children within the classroom, provide targeted interventions, and help create a positive and engaging learning environment.

This role is ideal for someone looking to gain valuable classroom experience or continue developing a career within education.

Who Can Apply?

We welcome applications from candidates who have experience working with children in any capacity, including:

  • Teaching Assistant
  • Nursery Practitioner or Playworker
  • Sports Coach
  • Care Worker
  • Youth Worker
  • Scout or Guide Leader
  • Other child-focused roles

  • Reliable, committed, and eager to make a positive difference

Essential Requirements

To work in Welsh schools, you'll need:

  • An Enhanced DBS Certificate (Child Workforce), or be willing to apply for one
  • Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

If you don't already have these, Teaching Personnel can support you with both application processes (additional costs may apply).

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
