We are working with a number of welcoming Welsh-medium primary schools across Cardiff that are looking for enthusiastic Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistants to join their teams. This role is perfect for anyone considering a future career in teaching, educational psychology, speech and language therapy, social work, childcare, healthcare, or another child-focused profession. The Role

As a Welsh-speaking Teaching Assistant, you'll work closely with teachers to support pupils throughout the school day. Your responsibilities may include:

• Providing classroom support during lessons delivered through the medium of Welsh
• Working one-to-one or with small groups to reinforce learning
• Assisting pupils with literacy, numeracy, and classroom activities
• Promoting the use of the Welsh language in everyday learning
• Encouraging positive behaviour and supporting pupils' wellbeing
• Helping to create a safe, inclusive, and engaging learning environment

What We're Looking For

• Fluent Welsh speaker with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Positive, enthusiastic, and dependable approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Passion for supporting children and helping them succeed
• Ability to adapt and work confidently in different school settings
• Previous experience working with children is welcomed but not required
