Hours: 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

While previous experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is a bonus, it’s not essential. What matters most is that you are:

✨ About the Role

As a Supply Teaching Assistant, you’ll be an essential part of maintaining continuity and quality in classrooms when permanent staff are away. Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting teachers with engaging and inclusive lessons across various subjects and year groups

• Providing 1:1 or small group support to help students stay on track

• Encouraging positive behaviour and a nurturing classroom atmosphere

• Preparing and tidying learning spaces to keep them safe and inspiring

• Supervising break times, lunchtimes, or school trips

• Assisting with admin tasks like preparing resources and photocopying

• Supporting students with SEN or additional learning needs

• Adapting quickly to new classrooms and routines

• Communicating effectively with teaching staff for smooth handovers
