Pay: £89.38 per day
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 3:30pm

Teaching Personnel is seeking a committed and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support a welcoming Primary School in Cardiff on a full-time basis. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys working with children and is eager to contribute to a positive, supportive school environment.

The Role:

As a Teaching Assistant, you'll play a key role in the classroom by:

• Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery

• Providing tailored support to individual pupils and small groups

• Supporting behaviour management and promoting a positive learning environment

• Helping to maintain a clean, organised classroom space

• Using your initiative to step in where needed throughout the school day

We’re looking for someone who is friendly, flexible, proactive, and passionate about helping children reach their full potential.

This is a one-form-entry primary school located in the CF24 area of Cardiff. You’ll be joining a close-knit, supportive team of teachers and support staff who value collaboration and professional growth. For the right candidate, there is potential for the position to continue into the new academic year starting September 2025.

What You’ll Need:

• An Enhanced Child Workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply – we can help with this!)

• Registration with the Education Workforce Council (EWC)

• Ability to provide two professional references
