Position: Teaching Assistant
Location: Dorset (Bournemouth, Poole, Christchurch & surrounding areas)
Contract: Full-Time, Part-Time, and Supply Opportunities

Role Overview
Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for your next opportunity in Dorset? We’re seeking caring, reliable, and enthusiastic individuals with experience working with children in either educational or care settings.
You’ll play a vital role in supporting pupils’ learning, helping create a positive and inclusive classroom environment, and assisting teachers with day-to-day activities. This is a rewarding role for anyone who loves working with children and making a difference in their education and development.
Responsibilities

Support teachers in delivering engaging lessons and activities

Work with individuals or small groups of children to support learning

Help create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive classroom environment

Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teachers

Assist with classroom organisation and preparation of resources
Requirements

Previous experience working with children in education or care

Strong communication and teamwork skills

Patient, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting children

Passionate about making a difference in children’s learning and wellbeing

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
