Until July 2026 – with potential to extend
£88 – £100 per day (dependent on experience and qualifications)

A welcoming and inclusive primary school in Bedford is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join their team this term. You’ll play a key role in supporting pupils across KS1 and KS2, helping to create a fun, engaging, and supportive learning environment.

Responsibilities:
• Support pupils in small groups and 1:1 settings to boost confidence and progress
• Assist the class teacher with lesson delivery and classroom management
• Help create engaging learning activities and resources
• Promote positive behaviour and celebrate pupil success
• Contribute to a caring and supportive classroom culture
Requirements:
• Experience supporting children in a primary or similar educational setting
• Passion for helping children succeed academically and emotionally
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• A proactive attitude and commitment to safeguarding

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
