Contract Type: Full-Time (Term-Time Only)
Day Rate: £90 - £100 per day (pro-rata, dependent on experience and qualifications)

A values-led mainstream primary school in Bedford is seeking a Teaching Assistant to join their dedicated team this Autmun. This is a full-time, fixed-term role supporting pupils across the school, working closely with class teachers to help children make great academic and personal progress.
Responsibilities:
- Support learning activities across the curriculum, adapting materials to meet pupil needs
- Work closely with class teachers to help create an engaging and inclusive learning environment
- Provide both academic and pastoral support to individuals and small groups
- Encourage positive behaviour and model the school’s values in everyday interactions
- Uphold safeguarding procedures and support the wellbeing of every child
Requirements:
- Level 2 qualification in a relevant subject (or equivalent experience)
- Good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths)
- Warm, approachable, and confident in supporting children of varying abilities
- Able to use initiative, work flexibly, and communicate effectively
- A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Supportive of the ethos and values of a Church school environment

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
