Teaching Assistant for 1:1 support

I am working on behalf of a Primary school in the Bodmin area who regularly call upon Teaching Personnel for Teaching Assistants who are keen to work with children and young people. The school are keen to secure candidates who are confident with working with different needs and abilities. They are also looking for candidates who are able to work confidently and effectively with pupils on a small group and whole class situation.

The upcoming candidate should have relevant experience of working with children and young people.

Duties will include:

- Ensuring students are getting on with the work set by the class teacher

- Managing behaviour of the students in the classroom (maintaining low level disruption)

- Supporting different needs and abilities

You must have:

- Experience of working in Primary school settings

- Full driving licence with access to your own vehicle

- GCSE grade C or above - including Maths and English

- 2 A Levels or BTEC/NVQ/CACHE Level 3

- Degree

- Other qualifications equivalent to GCSE's
