This programme is designed for individuals who want to build hands‑on experience in a secondary school setting while receiving ongoing support and guidance from experienced educators.

What the Programme Includes

• A long‑term placement in a supportive secondary school

Your Day‑to‑Day Role

• Working as a Cover Supervisor, leading classes with pre-set work
• Supporting pupils across key subjects
• Helping with behaviour management and creating a positive learning environment
• Assisting teaching staff with lesson preparation and classroom tasks
• Gaining exposure to different age groups and departments

Ideal Candidates

• Graduates from any discipline (or final‑year students)
• Confident communicators with strong interpersonal skills
• Individuals who are passionate about working in education
• People with leadership experience, youth work, coaching or mentoring backgrounds
• Those keen to progress into teacher training after gaining school experience

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
