Art Teacher Opportunity
Slough
We are looking to recruit a Teacher for a wonderful SEN school that caters for pupils aged 4-19 years old. The vacancy is a for a permanent role Teaching Art to primary age pupils, and will start in September 2019.
The school is looking for 2 full time Teachers to support complex needs such as ADHD, Autism, Tourette's syndrome and other Specific Learning Difficulties. The school has very small class sizes to allow a more 1:1 support experience for the pupils. The right candidate would have professional experience working in a school and with SEN pupils however it is not essential!
Your role will involve supporting young children with their artwork, and encouraging them to be independent and to engage in lessons!
We are looking for a very creative candidate who is passionate and eager to develop their career within education!
The right candidate would have the following...
- Experience working as a teacher in mainstream or SEN schools
- A passion and interest working with children
- Dedicated and committed to supporting children with challenging behaviour
- 1:1 experience with pupils of primary or secondary age
- A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) and ideally a passion for a specific subject
- Any SENCO qualifications
- Be creative and eager to begin your new role
