We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary school supporting students aged 11-16 with autism and social, language and communication needs.

This is an excellent opportunity for a graduate looking to build a career in education, SEND, psychology, therapy or teaching while making a genuine difference to the lives of young people.

What You'll Do

✅ Support students throughout the school day, both in and out of the classroom
✅ Adapt learning activities to meet individual needs
✅ Help develop students' communication, independence and emotional regulation skills
✅ Work closely with teachers and specialist staff to deliver tailored support strategies
✅ Promote positive behaviour through consistent routines and a nurturing approach
✅ Create a safe, engaging and inclusive learning environment

What We're Looking For

✔ A degree in any subject
✔ Previous experience working in a school setting is essential
✔ Experience supporting students with SEND, autism and/or communication needs is essential
✔ A genuine passion for inclusive education and supporting vulnerable young people
✔ Strong communication and relationship-building skills
