Teaching Personnel is recruiting for a rewarding opportunity within a welcoming and inclusive primary school in the Bolton area. We are seeking a caring, patient, and enthusiastic Primary SEN Learning Mentor to support pupils aged 4-11 years with a range of additional needs, helping them to flourish both academically and personally.

You will be supporting children with a variety of Special Educational Needs, including:
- Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC)
- ADHD
- Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN)
- Moderate Learning Difficulties (MLD)
- Sensory processing difficulties
Key Responsibilities
- Provide tailored 1:1 and small-group support for pupils with SEND.
- Assist in delivering engaging and inclusive learning activities.
- Support pupils' academic progress, emotional wellbeing, and social development.
- Promote positive behaviour, self-regulation, and resilience.
- Adapt learning resources to meet individual needs.
- Encourage independence, confidence, and participation in school life.
- Build strong relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues.
Requirements
- Experience working with children in education, care, youth work, or support roles.
- Understanding of SEND, particularly ASC, ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.
- A compassionate, patient, and proactive approach.
- Ability to remain calm and resilient in challenging situations.
- Passion for supporting children with additional needs.
