Teaching Personnel is currently recruiting a dedicated Learning Support Assistant to join a specialist SEN school in Oldham, working with pupils aged 4-19 with Autism (ASC) and Speech, Language & Communication Needs (SLCN).

The Role
As a Learning Support Assistant, you'll work closely with teaching staff and wider professionals to provide tailored support throughout the school day.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Supporting pupils on a 1:1 basis and in small groups
✅ Assisting with classroom learning and engagement
✅ Promoting positive behaviour and emotional wellbeing
✅ Supporting communication and interaction skills
✅ Assisting with sensory needs and individual learning plans
✅ Encouraging independence and life skills development
✅ Building positive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
✅ Providing personal care where required

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
