Teacher of Science - Maternity cover

Teaching Personnel are working with an Ofsted Outstanding Secondary School catering for years 7-11 teaching the national curriculum up to GCSE. They are looking for a part time Teacher of Science to join them for a maternity cover on a temporary basis to help them with their position from September '19. This role will be a contracted role for the academic year of 2019-2020.

This role is suitable for NQTs and you will be fully supported during your NQT year.

The teacher you will be covering teaches a mixture of KS3 and KS4 meaning that they require someone experienced across the entire curriculum, you will have a strong and helpful head of department and a faculty who are excited to help you settle into your new role. Covering the classes you will have a mixture of ability groups. The school have in place excellent behavioural management systems and as such you are always supported fully in managing the behaviour of pupils, with the full backing and support of SLT with all matters.

They are excited to employ a teacher of Science with a passionate and motivating work ethic which fits in with the outstanding ethos of the school. Encouraging all students and staff to strive to be all they can, constantly moving forward and progressing to improve and achieve.

Working in this role you will be pay-rolled by Teaching Personnel due to the temporary nature of the role. The following benefits are available to you:
