TP Tutors is recruiting experienced and compassionate SEN Tutors in Hedge End to provide high-quality tuition in Maths, English, and Science.

This role centres on structured intervention for learners with additional needs, helping them regain academic confidence and achieve sustainable progress.

Role Overview

Position: SEN Tutor – Core Subjects
Location: Hedge End – home and community settings
Hours: Flexible (Part-Time or Full-Time)

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Planning and delivering lessons linked to EHCP targets

  • Adapting subject material to suit individual learning profiles

  • Supporting pupils with SEND and SEMH

  • Reinforcing core concepts to close knowledge gaps

  • Tracking attainment and providing progress reports

Essential Criteria

  • Strong knowledge in at least one core subject

  • SEN experience in tutoring or education settings

  • Skilled at simplifying and scaffolding content

  • Calm, adaptable, and professional approach

  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to apply)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
