SEN Tutor Vacancies – Support Young People Across Whiteley

TP Tutors is recruiting enthusiastic and caring SEN Tutors to deliver personalised one-to-one tuition for students across Whiteley and surrounding areas.

Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Whiteley and nearby areas
Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time opportunities available

About the Role

This rewarding position focuses on supporting learners who may have additional needs such as Autism, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety, or difficulties engaging in mainstream education.

You will provide tailored tuition designed to rebuild confidence, encourage engagement, and support both academic and personal development in a supportive setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver structured one-to-one tuition sessions
  • Adapt teaching methods to individual learner needs
  • Support emotional wellbeing and academic progress
  • Monitor and report on learner development
  • Build positive relationships with families and professionals
  • Create a safe, encouraging learning environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience working with children or young people is desirable
  • Backgrounds in teaching, tutoring, mentoring, care, youth work, or support roles are welcomed
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Patient, flexible, and empathetic approach
  • Reliable and organised with a strong commitment to learners
  • Awareness of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Ability to travel across Whiteley and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
