Support Young Learners to Achieve Their Potential – SEN Tutors Required in Petersfield
TP Tutors is committed to providing meaningful educational support that helps every learner succeed. Through personalised one-to-one tuition, we help children and young people with additional needs gain confidence, improve engagement, and work towards positive educational outcomes.
We are currently recruiting SEN Tutors in Petersfield to support students with a range of learning and emotional needs.
Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Petersfield and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible part-time and full-time positions available
Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver engaging one-to-one tuition sessions
- Support learners with Autism, ADHD, SEMH, anxiety, and other additional needs
- Adjust teaching methods to suit individual learning styles and abilities
- Encourage confidence, routine, and independent learning
- Develop positive working relationships with students and families
- Monitor learner progress and adapt support where needed
What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with children or young people is preferred
- Suitable backgrounds include education, tutoring, youth work, mentoring, support work, or care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Patient, flexible, and understanding attitude
- Awareness of safeguarding expectations and best practices
- Willingness to travel locally within Petersfield and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
