Job description

SEN Tutors Required in Winchester – Help Learners Reach Their Potential

At TP Tutors, we are committed to providing tailored educational support that enables every learner to succeed. We are currently recruiting SEN Tutors in Winchester to support children and young people who benefit from individualised learning approaches.

Position: SEN Tutor
Location: Winchester and nearby areas
Contract Type: Flexible full-time and part-time roles available

Key Duties

  • Plan and deliver personalised learning sessions
  • Support students with a range of additional needs, including Autism, ADHD, SEMH, and anxiety
  • Adapt resources and teaching methods to meet individual requirements
  • Encourage motivation, self-esteem, and independent learning
  • Build professional and supportive relationships with students and families
  • Assess progress and tailor support accordingly
  • Promote a positive and inclusive learning environment

Ideal Candidate

  • Previous experience supporting children or young people is preferred
  • Suitable for candidates from educational, mentoring, care, support work, or tutoring backgrounds
  • Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills
  • Calm, empathetic, and flexible approach
  • Good understanding of safeguarding responsibilities
  • Willingness to travel within Winchester and surrounding areas

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
