Job description

Make a Real Impact – SEN Tutors Needed in Southampton

Every learner’s journey is different. Some just need the right support to unlock their potential.

At TP Tutors, we’re looking for compassionate and dedicated SEN Tutors to work one-to-one with students across Southampton who benefit from a personalised approach outside of mainstream education.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time available)

Your Role

  • Provide tailored one-to-one tuition sessions
  • Support young people with needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Adapt lessons to suit individual learning styles and abilities
  • Build confidence, independence, and engagement with learning
  • Deliver sessions in homes or local community settings

About You

  • Experience working with children or young people 
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Calm, patient, and adaptable approach
  • Understanding of safeguarding and child protection
  • Able to travel within Southampton

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
