TP Tutors is seeking passionate and dedicated SEN Tutors to support learners across Southampton. If you’re committed to helping young people overcome barriers and reach their full potential, this is your opportunity to make a meaningful impact in your local community.

Role: SEN Tutor

Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible (part-time and full-time available)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver personalised, one-to-one tuition sessions tailored to each learner
  • Support students with additional needs including ASC, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Create engaging, structured lessons that build confidence and progress
  • Foster positive, trusting relationships that support wellbeing and engagement
  • Deliver sessions within home or community-based settings

Candidate Profile

  • Experience working with children or young people in education or support roles
  • Strong knowledge of core subjects (English, Maths, Science)
  • Based in Southampton or able to travel locally
  • Patient, adaptable, and solution-focused
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive education practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
