Job description

Support, Guide, Inspire – SEN Tutoring Roles in Southampton

TP Tutors is growing its team in Southampton and is looking for dedicated tutors to deliver personalised Maths and English support to young people with Special Educational Needs.

If you want a role that offers flexibility while making a genuine impact, this opportunity could be ideal.

The Role

  • Plan and deliver engaging Maths and/or English tuition
  • Work on a 1:1 basis or with small groups of learners
  • Tailor sessions to support needs such as autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Deliver tuition within home environments or local community settings
  • Support students in developing confidence, independence, and academic skills

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience supporting children or young people with SEN/SEND
  • Strong subject knowledge in Maths and/or English
  • Based in Southampton or able to travel within the area
  • A patient, adaptable, and positive approach
  • Understanding of safeguarding and inclusive education practices

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
