Are you passionate about supporting young people with Special Educational Needs to succeed? If you’re based in or near Southampton, TP Tutors is looking for dedicated individuals to deliver 1:1 or small group tuition in Maths and English.
This role is ideal for those with experience in teaching, mentoring, youth work, or SEN support who want to help learners overcome barriers and thrive.
Role: SEN Tutor (SEND Support Opportunities Available)
Location: Southampton and surrounding areas
Hours: Flexible – Part-Time or Full-Time
Your Impact

Plan and deliver engaging, personalised sessions

Support learners with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and additional needs

Create a structured, supportive learning environment

Deliver sessions in homes or suitable community settings

Build confidence and support academic progress
✅ What We’re Looking For

Experience working with children or young people with SEN/SEND
-
Ability to teach Maths and/or English (primary or secondary)

Based in Southampton or able to travel locally

Patient, adaptable, and empathetic

Strong understanding of safeguarding and inclusion

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
