SEN Tutors Needed in Southampton

TP Tutors is on the lookout for compassionate and driven SEN Tutors in Southampton who can provide the focused support that truly changes outcomes.

Role: SEN Tutor
Location: Southampton & local areas
Working Pattern: Flexible (part-time or full-time)

About the Role
You’ll work one-to-one with students who need a more personalised approach, helping them overcome challenges and build confidence step by step.

  • Deliver tailored sessions that match each learner’s needs and pace
  • Support students with SEN, including autism, ADHD, and SEMH
  • Break down barriers to learning through creative teaching methods
  • Encourage independence and self-belief
  • Provide sessions in home or community settings

About You

  • Experience working with young people (education, care, youth work, etc.)
  • Good knowledge of English and maths basics
  • Adaptable and patient, with a positive mindset
  • Able to travel across Southampton
  • Committed to safeguarding and inclusive practice

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
