Year 1 Teacher – Primary Schools | Ringwood and surrounding areas.

Are you a passionate and nurturing Key Stage 1 teacher ready to make a real difference? We are seeking an enthusiastic Year 1 Teacher to join welcoming and supportive primary schools across Hampshire and Dorset.

This is a wonderful opportunity to support pupils as they transition from EYFS into more structured learning.

The Role

As a Year 1 Teacher, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons in line with the Key Stage 1 curriculum.
  • Build strong foundations in phonics, reading, writing, and maths.
  • Support pupils’ social, emotional, and academic development.
  • Use assessment to monitor progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
  • Create a warm, inclusive, and stimulating classroom environment.

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
  • Experience within EYFS or Key Stage 1.
  • Strong knowledge of phonics and early literacy development.
  • Excellent classroom management and organisational skills.
  • A caring and patient approach with high expectations for all learners.
