Are you a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher looking for a new and exciting opportunity? We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic individual to join our dynamic team as a Science Teacher. The successful candidate will play a key role in inspiring and educating students in the sciences, fostering a love for learning and inquiry.

We are working with a vibrant secondary school to help them recruit a qualified and enthusiastic Science Teacher to inspire curiosity and ignite a passion for science in their students. If you possess a love for teaching and a commitment to nurturing young minds.

We work with a plethora of schools across Nottinghamshire so we can offer various placements instead of a regular placement if that is what suits your needs. We work for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Plan, deliver, and assess high-quality science lessons in accordance with the national curriculum.
  2. Create a positive and inclusive learning environment that encourages student engagement and academic achievement.
  3. Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, fostering a supportive and challenging classroom atmosphere.
  4. Utilize a variety of teaching methods and resources to enhance the learning experience and cater to different learning styles.
  5. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback to support their academic development.

Requirements:

  1. Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
  2. A degree in a relevant scientific discipline.
  3. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for science education.
  4. Effective classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students.
  5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  6. Commitment to continuous professional development.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
