Job description

Do you have a passion for science and a talent for inspiring students? Are you looking for a role where your lessons can spark curiosity and make learning memorable? Teaching Personnel is recruiting a motivated Teacher of Science for a welcoming secondary school in Fleet, starting September 2025.

About the Role
This full-time position involves teaching Science across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4, including Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. You’ll deliver engaging, practical, and stimulating lessons, supporting all students to reach their full potential. In addition to teaching, you will contribute to the school community and work collaboratively with the science department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and deliver dynamic, interactive science lessons

  • Incorporate experiments and practical work to enhance understanding

  • Monitor pupil progress and provide targeted support

  • Work as part of a collaborative team within the science department

Essential Skills and Requirements:

  • Degree in Science or related field (desirable but not essential for unqualified applicants)

  • Excellent classroom management and communication skills

  • Passion for inspiring students and making science engaging

  • Enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
