Job description

Are you a skilled science educator who can turn curiosity into understanding? Do you want to start the 2025/26 academic year in a school where your lessons can truly inspire? Teaching Personnel is working with a vibrant secondary school in Farnborough to recruit an enthusiastic Teacher of Science from September 2025.

About the Role
This is a full-time position teaching Biology, Chemistry, and Physics to students across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4. You’ll design lessons that spark interest, encourage independent thinking, and link classroom learning to the world around us. Alongside delivering the curriculum, you will be involved in marking, assessment, and wider school activities.

We are looking for:

  • Qualified Science Teachers (QTS/QTLS)

  • Early Career Teachers (ECTs) eager to begin their teaching journey

  • Unqualified Teachers with strong subject expertise in science

  • Graduates in science or related subjects ready to step into education

In this role, you will:

  • Plan and deliver engaging science lessons tailored to different abilities

  • Use experiments and demonstrations to bring theory to life

  • Track progress and provide clear, constructive feedback

  • Collaborate with colleagues to share resources and best practice

Requirements:

  • Degree in Science or related subject (desirable for unqualified applicants)

  • Strong classroom management and communication skills

  • A passion for making science exciting and accessible

  • Enhanced child workforce DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
