Teacher of Music needed for September in an LEA Secondary School in Basingstoke.
The school are currently looking to recruit a teacher of Music for their ambitious department to teach both KS3 and KS4 to students as well as assisting in extra curricular activities including organisation, planning and running.
The ideal teacher would have experience teaching to KS3 and KS4 students within the last 2 years, as well as having relevant qualifications for teaching of Music within Secondary Schooling. This role is suitable for teachers of Music who are experienced as well as beginning their career, as such this post is suitable for NQTs of Music. The school are happy to consider overseas trained teachers, unqualified teachers who have experience teaching Music as well as graduates who are interested in training to teach in the future. This role will be paid to your current scale point on MPR/UPR.
The school are a large LEA School with a brilliant local reputation in the community, they are looking for a teacher who is going to go along with the ethos currently represented by the students and staff and who are able to contribute to the wider school life. The school have a higher than average number of students who chose to pursue Music at GCSE and a large number of these continue on to study Music related courses in further education.
